Looking ahead, the Hall can still turn this into a successful season. Half way through with some tough losses under their belt leaves them with plenty of Big East play to come. The question is, can the team step up or have they thrown in the towels? The leaders have to take control. Saturday is a very winnable game, though it will be tough and the story is the same for the rest of the Big East games.
I feel that to overcome this losing streak, more players need to be involved. Distribute the ball more. Drive and look for the open man. The team has a number of players who can beat the first man but their vision of the court has been lacking. Theodore and Harvey show they can find the open teammate but they need to be on the court longer to continue to do so. With this in mind, Coach needs to show confidence in his players. Too many times this year, Coach has yanked a player after turnover or a bad shot. A bad play is bound to happen and most players come back even harder trying to make up for it. His trust in his team will compensate for the lack of confidence the team has taken up recently. It starts with the coach. There is no doubt about that, but once he does his job, the ball is in the players hands.
