-Halftime adjustments, Kevin Willard? Yup, they'll be needed. Possibly relaxing on the substitution patterns might be your first step. It's a revolving door on the Pirates sideline. Was there not a rotation plan coming into the game? Experimenting in the season opener? That's what the exhibition was for.
-Seton Hall finished the final ten minutes of the first half terribly as Temple rolled to a 17-4 run. The defense continually broke down, Juan Fernandez started heating up and the offense looked clueless with the ball in their hands.
-The Pirates are shooting 24% including 0-for-9 from long distance.
-Temple is dominating the glass to a tune of 22-13 rebounds.
-Hazell leads the Pirates with 8PTs, despite just shooting 4-of-13 from the floor.
-As always with Seton Hall big men, Ferrakohn Hall made sure to launch a 3PT attempt from the top of the key. I don't care if he, JRob, or Pope made 3PT attempts in a scrimmage, exhibition, or even in a game last year. The big men need to stop chucking 3's.
-Speaking of Hall, his game hasn't been pretty tonight. He's attempting wild, off-balanced shots around the rim, even falling over twice; once while shooting and once while trying to pass the ball back out. He's 1-of-4 from the floor.
-The defense has been weak inside, the Owls are setting up camp in the paint and Pope and Hall have been providing little resistance.
-Is it me or are Keon and Polynice dribbling wildly out there? Everytime they lead the break, it looks like the ball is going to come flying of out their possession.
-Two positives from this half, only two. The Pirates were 6-of-7 from the charity stripe and have only turned the ball over 5 times. That's it. Two positives.
-Get to work on those adjustments, Kevin.
