Mike Glover...shades of what could/should have been...
As I post this, a single tear rolls down my cheek. Mike Glover, former Seton Hall recruit, dropped 39 points and 14 rebounds in a 94-85 victory for his Iona Gaels over the Canisius Golden Griffins last night. Glover, who came into Seton Hall in the same recruiting class as Jeremy Hazell, couldn't fix his off the court/in the classroom issues in time to play for the Pirates. After transferring to two different schools, he's finally landed at Iona, eligible and ready to play. In 7 games this season, Glover is averaging 20.4 PPG and 9 RPG with three double-doubles. These kinds of performances from the 6-7 Bronx, NY native can only leave Pirate fans scratching their heads and wondering what could, and maybe should have been if Glover was able to fix his issues three years ago.
