2013 Recruiting Targets

Hey guys. I figured I would use all the info that Gonzo Ball, Alex Kline, and others have provided to put together a list of our 2013 recruiting targets. If I missed anyone, let me know in the comments section and I can add them.

Point Guard

Obviously now that we signed Aquille Carr, our need at PG is virtually gone but none the less we still have some players that are being targeted/recruited.

  • Jarius Lyles
  • Kavon Stewart
Shooting Guard I doubt SHU signs a SG for the 2013 class unless their is a transfer. They will have Cosby, Karlis, and Brian Oliver on the roster, all of whom are capable of playing the 2G. However, if one of these three guys decides he wants to go to SHU, I doubt Willard would turn them down.
  • Chris Thomas
  • Davon Reed
  • Hallice Cooke
  • Kevin Johnson
Small Forward SHU is involved with a couple highly rated SF's for this class and I could see them signing one to groom as Edwin's replacement. Colbert is a top 50 player, while Roberson is in the top 30 and Cameron is in the top 100. All of these players would bring unique skill sets to the table.
  • Reggie Cameron
  • Tyler Roberson
  • DeAndre Bembry
  • Austin Colbert
Power Forward Seton Hall is involved with a couple top 100 PFs in Young and Watkins. Both have high major interests and both are local prospects. Landing one of these players would be a good player to pair with Aquille Carr.
  • Mike Young
  • Isaiah Watkins
Center Anya is one of the highest rated prospects in the class of 2013 and is not currently listing SHU. However, he, like Carr, is from the Baltimore area and maybe Carr can convince the highly rated center to come to SHU.
  • Beejay Anya
