Opening Line (Seton Hall -2.5)

The Pirates head back on the road this evening after picking up big wins on their home-stand over West Virginia and 8th ranked, Connecticut. Unfortunately, the Pirates opponent is a desperate Providence Friars basketball club, needing to pick up their first conference win. Although they've dropped all 3 of their contests to this point, two of the losses have come against Syracuse and Georgetown and they've played each fairly well. They hung around with Georgetown in DC, limiting the Hoyas to 49 points, while they trailed the Orange by just two points in Providence on Wednesday night.

Although the Pirates are playing extremely well at the moment, they aren't going to storm into the DD center and come away with an easy victory. Instead, the game will likely be decided in the last 5 minutes of play and the Pirates will look to their seniors to guide them to the dub. If there's one distinct advantage the Pirates will hold on the road, it's the senior leadership of Jordan Theodore and Herb Pope. The Friars do not have one scholarship senior as their lone senior Chris Carter is a walk-on. Our friends over at Friar Blog recently featured a story on him, check it out.

As always, Let's Go Hall!

it wasn't pretty but ..

It was not ulgy either. Good BE road win.

With a one point lead and PC charging JT got the job done once again.

They may not be top 25 yet, but they are on thier way. Great time to be a Pirate fan.

BIG WIN

Any road win in the vaunted Big East is a good. Especially against PC thy play very well at home and are very tough defensively. This is a good win for the Pirates and should give them confidence playing on the road in the future. Lets see what the Polls have in store for monday!!! #PirateNation #DropTheHammer
