Seton Hall Hosting Lengthy List of Recruits This Weekend

These Pirate fans look ready for Midnight Madness. Are you?

All was quiet on the recruiting front this week, a sort of calm before the storm that has been the past ten hours. Coming into today, we knew that 2014 PG Winston Morgan (East Catholic HS, Conn.) had set up an unofficial visit for tomorrow night's Midnight Madness event, but beyond that, no other visitors had been confirmed. As of 5 P.M. today, we have confirmed that Seton Hall has five more visitors scheduled to visit this weekend, some of which are official visits. There are also several more local targets set to visit which we have not yet confirmed.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy (Wis.) teammates Jevon Thomas and Jerron Wilbut will both take official visits that include Midnight Madness, John Clayton, St. John's Military Academy's assistant told South Orange Juice. Both players are formerly Class of 2012 recruits who are taking their post-graduate year at SJNMA, the same school that produced sophomore forward Brandon Mobley. Thomas was a St. John's (the University) commit before deciding to pledge to Dayton, where he never enrolled before reclassifying to 2013. Wilbut has collected offers from high-major schools such as Memphis, Virginia Tech and Oregon and had been rated as a Top-150 recruit in the Class of 2012 by several recruiting services. Wilbut will attend Xavier's Midnight Madness event next weekend.

Adam Zagoria confirmed earlier today that 2013s Austin Colbert (Gill St. Bernard's, N.J.) and Isaiah Lewis (The Patrick School, N.J.) will visit this weekend. Colbert will take an official visit starting tomorrow that will run into Sunday -- official visits can last 48 hours. Colbert had previously said that he didn't plan on officially visiting Seton Hall because of its proximity to his current residence. Austin's school list has been narrowed down to three schools: Miami (Fla.), Illinois and Seton Hall after he recently eliminated Vanderbilt -- he is expected to decide soon. Somewhat similar to Jordan Theodore and Kyle Anderson, a current Pirate player has taken to Twitter to try and lure Austin Colbert to South Orange.

One of the highest rated recruits that will visit Seton Hall this weekend is 2014 forward Dwayne Morgan (St. Frances Academy, Md.). Morgan is a consensus Top 50 recruit in the Class of 2014 and one of, if not the best 2014 in the state of Maryland. InsideMDSports confirmed that Morgan will not visit for Midnight Madness but will be on campus on Saturday.

Adam Zagoria has provided some quotes about Jevon Thomas and Jerron Wilbut here, they are worth checking out.
