Anthony Gruppuso-US PRESSWIRE

"Without Cosby in the short term mix, we will be seeing a lot more of the two natural point guards, Tom Maayan and Freddie Wilson, as floor generals."

With Seton Hall's exhibition against Wilmington University (Del.) next Saturday fast approaching, the Pirates have suffered their first injury blow in the form of Aaron Cosby's knee. The sophomore guard tweaked his knee in practice and will have an MRI taken to confirm the extent of the injury. As a precautionary measure, it looks highly unlikely that Aaron will lace 'em up against Wilmington on Saturday or Fairleigh Dickinson on November 3rd. The staff is hopeful that Aaron will be near full strength for the season opener against UMKC on November 9th at Walsh Gymnasium.

Without Cosby in the short term mix, we will be seeing a lot more of the two natural point guards, Tom Maayan and Freddie Wilson, as floor generals. With the all-important position already a bit of a question mark, a long term injury to Aaron Cosby is certainly a worst case scenario for the Pirates.
