Hey Nineteen

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – With apologies to Steely Dan, using the title of the fine Seventies (showing my ‘experience’) classics. The efficiency leaders in the Seton Hall women's 82-72 victory over Providence on Tuesday were Alexis Brown and Ka-Deidre Simmons. The Seton Hall backcourt registered a team high efficiency of 19 each.

Simmons led the Pirate scoring with 18 points. Brown added 17 for the Hall now 6-8 in conference (Providence fell to 1-13). Simmons shot 6 of 11 from the floor and had five assists to two turnovers. Brown was 5 of 11 in field goal shooting, adding four assists against three turnovers.

Efficiency did not do justice. Efficiency is a good tool to measure performance. In the case of Tara Inman it did no justice. The Freshman guard played 13 mintues, registering two rebounds, an assist and two steals, plus immeasurable heart. "She (Inman) bused her butt," Seton Hall coach Tony Bozzella said. "She did and gave us what we needed to win."
