Desi Rodriguez to sign with Seton Hall on Monday

Jim O'Connor-USA TODAY Sports

The only unsigned member of Seton Hall's top-15 incoming recruiting class will put pen to paper on Monday.

Desi Rodriguez (Abraham Lincoln, N.Y.) will sign his National Letter of Intent with Seton Hall on Monday after verbally committing to the Pirates on December 23rd of last year. The high-flying athletic combo forward followed his Lincoln teammate and McDonald's All-American Isaiah Whitehead in pledging to the Pirates as a member of their 2014 class that has gained national recognition. Rodriguez committed to Seton Hall at a time when he was mostly an unknown commodity on recruiting trails even after winning MVP honors in the 2012-13 PSAL championship with Lincoln.

Rodriguez teamed up with Whitehead at Lincoln as seniors this past season and both routinely put up 20+ point totals while combining on the court for plenty of highlight reel plays. Desi is set to play in the 2014 Jordan Brand Classic regional game at 4pm today, the Capital Classic on April 26th and the Mary Kline Classic on May 31st. Seton Hall will be represented by no less than four players in each of the three all-star games.
