I was wrong in my earlier prediction of Walsh Gymnasium only packing a couple hundred fans as 2,345 fans came out to watch the only exhibition game of the season. Carleton didn't put up much of a fight as Jordan Theodore helped the Pirates put the game away early, tallying eight first half steals en route to a 48-20 halftime lead. Theodore finished with 17, Herb Pope added 15 and Keon Lawrence was an impressive 5-of-5 from the field.
It's tough to take much of anything from this exhibition against an opponent like Carleton, however Theodore's performance was very encouraging. I don't care if you're playing against a local high school team, racking up 8 steals in one half is beyond impressive. Read more about the game here.
