Jayvaugn Pinkston to Decide at Noon

Update:  NBE Basketball is reporting that Pinkston has verbally committed to Villanova:
Villanova and head coach Jay Wright scored their third commitment for the class of 2010 when NYC forward Jayvaughn Pinkston verbally committed to the Wildcats today.
Original Post: We will not have to wait until the spring after all.  Christopher Lawlor reports that Pinkston's decision is in and will be announced at noon.  We will keep you updated as the story develops:
He's deciding between Tennessee, Villanova, Saint John's, Seton Hall and Marquette. Sources close to the situation say Pinkston is leaning toward Villanova, a week after he was apparently headed to Tennessee.
Check out the GonzoBall piece on Pinkston, where I predicted he would wind up with signing with Villanova or Tennessee here:
This is the exact type of recruit that Gonzalez needs to bring into the program.  The 2010-2011 recruiting class is shaping up nicely with Morgan and Edwin, however it's far from one of the best classes in the country, landing Pinkston would change that.  Signing the talented 6'6 forward could also change the Pirates luck of securing elite NYC talent for years to come.
