Seton Hall Pirates, Big East, KenPom: 56, Record: 2-3, RPI: 155 (.5104), SOS: 94 (.5536)

Projected Starting Lineup: G Jordan Theodore, G Jamel Jackson, G Eniel Polynice, F Jeff Robinson, F Herb Pope

Overview: The Pirates are looking to rebound after a heart breaking outing at the Paradise Jam. Seton Hall dropped two very close games against Xavier and then against Clemson to finish 1-2 in the Virgin Islands. The Pirates two losses in the tournament came without pre-season Wooden Finalist Jeremy Hazell due to a broken wrist that he sustained against Alabama.

The Pirate offense was putrid in the games following Hazell's injury. That should be the first thing on every Pirate fan's mind besides a victory: Has this team adapted to life without Hazell on the offensive end? If they don't perform better than against Xavier and Clemson, we're in for a LONG season.

St. Peter's Peacocks, MAC, KenPom : 154, Record: 2-3, RPI: 140 (.5224), SOS: 76 (.5696)

Projected Starting Lineup:G Wesley Jenkins, G Steven Samuels, G Nick Leon, F Jeron Belin, F Ryan Bacon

Overview: The Peacocks had a rough start to their season. They had a number of preseason injuries, including guard Wesley Jenkins, and only notched one win at the Paradise Jam against Alabama. Star guard Wesley Jenkins returned from injury in the Peacock's last game against Long Island, scoring 13 points in 29 minutes.

The Peacocks play a half-court, defensive minded brand of basketball, similar to what we saw against Clemson and Xavier. Expect the game to be in the 50s or 60s, just like last season at the Prudential Center.

KenPom Prediction: Seton Hall 68, St. Peter's 57

JP's St. Peter's Scouting Report:

Make no mistake about it- this is a downright dangerous game for the Pirates.

The Peacocks are a seasoned, veteran group of players with plenty of experience playing at the college level, not to mention with each other. Senior Wesley Jenkins is their best scorer, although he is coming off a knee injury suffered earlier this year. He returned in the Peacocks' Saturday win over LIU, playing 29 minutes and scoring 13 points.

Seton Hall Athletics:

Seton Hall enters their second home game of the year with a 2-3 overall record. They're coming off a 64-58 overtime loss to Clemson in the consolation game of the 2010 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam. On Nov. 19, the Pirates opened the tournament with an 83-78 victory over Alabama. On Nov. 21, they lost to Xavier, 57-52, in the semifinals. Senior Jeremy Hazell broke his left wrist in the game vs. Alabama and will miss 4-to-6 weeks. Senior Jeff Robinson was named to the All-Tournament Team.
