Seton Hall Basketball: Halftime Notes - Seton Hall 32, NJIT 24, Open Game Thread Page II

-The Pirates had the Highlanders on the ropes late in the first half, leading 32-18 with 3 minutes left, yet failed to score another point, allowing NJIT to hang around heading into intermission.

-How reminiscent is this of last Saturday against Longwood?  At home, against one of the worst teams in all of D-1 and the Pirates frankly seem disinterested, again.  Seton Hall has looked good over stretches of a few minutes a piece, but they've been unable to sustain any momentum in order to put this game out of reach.

-Herb Pope was a late scratch as his left foot injury is continuing to bother him.  XRays and MRIs were negative and he'll hopefully be back in uniform Wednesday night against Richmond.

-Speaking of uniform, the freshman Aaron Geramipoor is dressed and on the bench after recovering from mono.  Originally, it was expected the Pirates would redshirt Geramipoor and they still can, if he plays in less than 30% of the Pirates first half schedule, which translates to roughly five games.

-The Pirates are shooting a miserable 3-of-10 from the stripe as their season long struggle to tally free points continues.

-Nobody in the game is in double figures.  Fuquan Edwin leads the Pirates with 9PTS/3REB/STL/BLK/AST on 4-of-6 shooting.  FUQ'ED has been really active on the glass.

-Have I mentioned I love Jeff Robinson's mid-range game?  JT hit him with a beautiful entry pass on the left elbow before Robinson pivoted spun and drilled a smooth 15-footer.  He's got 7PTS/4REB at the half.

-JT has been quiet with just 3PTS, but has also added 5AST to just 1TO.  The Pirates as a team have only committed 2TO, opposed to NJIT's 6.
