Opening Line: Seton Hall -9.5 |
After a five day layoff, the Pirates are back in action at the Rock as they take on the undefeated Auburn Tigers of the SEC. You can never look ahead in college basketball, especially with a team as young as these Pirates, but forget that, I'm doing it anyways. If Seton Hall takes care of business tonight, a December 21st contest at Dayton is likely the only thing standing in the way of an 11-1 non-conference start. Many expected 11-1, or 10-2 at the least, given how soft Seton Hall's non-conference slate is, but you can only beat who you play. I'm looking forward to tonight's matchup between Herb Pope and Kenny Garbiel, which JP Guerette profiled, earlier this morning. Though they'll be starting at different positions, you can bet the leading rebounders of their respective teams (11.7-Pope, 7.5 Gabriel) will be battling each other around the glass all night. As always, Let's Go Hall!
