Seton Hall Pirates, Big East, Record: 10-13 (4-7), KenPom: 63, RPI: 90, SOS: 9

Projected Starting Lineup: G Jordan Theodore, G Jeremy Hazell, G/F Fuquan Edwin, F Jeff Robinson, F Herb Pope

Confidence was sky high following consecutive victories over Syracuse and Providence. Expectedly, Pirate Nation took a nosedive against West Virginia on Wednesday night.

It would be foolish to think that the Pirate ship is going to righted tonight, but then again, who could have predicted the outcome at the Carrier Dome? Seton Hall has been absolutely dominated by Connecticut since 1993. The Huskies have won 24 of 26 games, including the last ten in a row. With the monster freshman class that Jim Calhoun brought in this year and the departure of quite a few senior Pirates following this season, that streak will continue for quite awhile if not broken tonight.

According to Adam Zagoria, Kyle Anderson (St. Anthony's, 2012) is expected to attend tonight's game. Additionally, Anderson's teammate, Hallice Cooke (St. Anthony's, 2013), will also be sitting behind the Pirate bench.

What to Look for Tonight:

The play of Jordan Theodore. Some have claimed that Theodore had similar talent to that of Kemba Walker - not even close. Jordan Theodore was absent Wednesday night. The floor general failed to score and only notched one assist while turning the rock over twice. The team goes as Jordan goes.

Perimeter play. Jeremy Hazell's low point total against Providence was excusable because of his numerous assists. His performance against the Mountaineers was not. The Harlem native accumulated quite a few air balls and his shot just looked flat en route to an 0 for 6 shooting day from beyond the arc. Jamel Jackson had a small impact when he was inserted late in the game. It will be interesting to see if the seemingly tired Hazell is given some rest tonight. Don't count on it.

Connecticut Huskies, Big East, Record: 17-4 (5-4), KenPom: 19, RPI: 11, SOS: 7

Projected Starting Lineup: G Kemba Walker, G Jeremy Lamb, F Tyler Olander, F Roscoe Smith, F Alex Oriakhi

Depending on how one looks at it, Seton Hall might be playing the Huskies at the worst time or at the best time. Connecticut has dropped two games in a row, including a 2OT thriller against Louisville and a battle against Syracuse. The #7 Huskies plan to stop the bleeding tonight.

Connecticut is a young team that is playing like they've been there before (aside from Roscoe Smith). They start three freshmen in Tyler Olander, Roscoe Smith and Jeremy Lamb. On top of that, the Huskies' 6th man, Shabazz Napier, is also a freshman. Its safe to say this team is only going to get better over the next few seasons.

KenPom Prediction: Connecticut 68, Seton Hall 65

Seton Hall Athletics:

After winning its prior two games, Seton Hall lost to #25 West Virginia in a defensive battle, 56-44, on Wednesday. Senior Jeff Robinson led the team with nine points. Junior Herb Pope had eight points and seven rebounds. Jeremy Hazell was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. He leads the team with 19.1 points per game. Hazell needs just 34 more points to become only the fourth player in Seton Hall history with 2,000 career points.

Go Pirates!
