Midnight marked the beginning of the contact period in which coaches could legally contact 2013 targets via phone. Not surprisingly, a flood of recruiting news has been seen on Twitter -- here is who Seton Hall contacted over the past sixteen hours:

Current targets: PG Geno Thorpe (Pittsburgh, PA), PG Hallice Cooke (St. Anthony, NJ), SG Nate Britt (Gonzaga HS, DC), SF Reggie Cameron (Hudson Catholic, NJ) and PG Tyler Ennis (St. Benedict's Prep, NJ), SF Davon Reed(Princeton Day School, NJ)

New targets: SG Brannen Greene (Mary Persons HS, GA), PF Julius Randle (Prestonwood Christian Academy, TX) PG Rene Castro (Beaver Country Day School, MA) and Stephen Vasturia (Saint Joseph's Prep, PA), PG Josh Newkirk (Word of God Academy, NC).

Note the positions and quality of all the players contacted. All are guards except for Reggie Cameron, Julius Randle and Davon Reed. Additionally, I would personally be thrilled if just about every one of these players signed with Seton Hall. The studs of the group are Nate Britt, Brannen Greene & Julius Randle -- Randle is the No.1 player in the Class of 2013.

Seton Hall is also interested in two new 2012 targets: PG Daiquan Walker (Constitution HS, PA) & JUCO SG DeShun Garrett of Redlands CC (OK).
