Opening Line (Seton Hall -8)

With a victory and season sweep of Rutgers on Senior Night, the Pirates will guarantee at least a 9-9 conference mark when their season comes to a close next Saturday at DePaul. A win this evening would also bring Seton Hall one step closer to both an at-large bid in the NCAA Tournament and towards locking up the 8th seed in the Big East Tournament.

Today is certainly a bittersweet moment for Seton Hall fans. Though the Pirates are as close as they've been to seeing the Big Dance since 2006, it's also the last time we'll see seniors Jordan Theodore and Herb Pope play basketball at the Rock, in a Pirates uniform. Emotions will be running high as the Scarlet Knights will be amped up and ready for their chance to play spoiler. 1200 students will pack the largest student section the Rock has ever seen as Jordan Theodore attempts to break Seton Hall's single-season assist record held by Golden, "Sunny" Sunkett, who will be in attendance in the Pirate Blue suite.

Though it won't be the last time we see them wearing the blue and white this season, we'd like to extend our gratitude to Peter Dill, Herb Pope and of course, Jordan Theodore. We at South Orange Juice would like to thank the three seniors for their contributions to the Seton Hall men's basketball team, Seton Hall University and the South Orange (and surrounding areas) community, as a whole. We couldn't be prouder to have you wearing the Pirate Blue.

As always, Let's Go Hall!
