With a victory, the Pirates survive and advance to take on Louisville tomorrow evening. With a loss, they'll play host to an NIT game in front of a sparse Prudential Center crowd next Tuesday or Wednesday. Multiple opportunities to earn their first NCAA berth since 2006 have already been squandered.
After ending their season with two bad losses, it's remarkable that the Pirates still have one (two, if they win tonight) chance to hear their name on Selection Sunday. Winning twice won't be easy, as evidenced by the outcomes of last week's games, but nonetheless, here we are. Where there's a will, there's a way, we just haven't seen that will in two chances already. Third time's a charm.
As always, LET'S GO HALL!
