A few details regarding Seton Hall Basketball over the next month were released in an 'AD Newsletter' from Pat Lyons this morning.

First, Seton Hall will host dual men's and women's Blue & White games this Saturday, October 5th from 1-3pm in Walsh Gym. The newsletter states that the event is free, open to the public, and will contain autograph sessions afterwards.

Pat Lyons also touched on an already announced Midnight Madness on Friday, October 25th from 8-10pm in Walsh Gym. The event will be shown on FOX Sports 1. Lyons added new details that competitive eater Kobayashi will take on Kevin Willard, women's head coach Tony Bozzella, and others in a hot dog eating contest. The Midnight Madness event will be hosted by Power 105.1's DJ Clue and will include a $10,000 half court shot. The newsletter states that this event will only be open to season ticket holders, and I would assume students.

It will be interesting to see how this Midnight Madness event pans out, Kobayashi and DJ Clue are definitely out of left field. One would think that a big name artist would want to perform at this event because it will be on FOX Sports 1. They also cost a lot of money to book.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems strange to me that the Blue & White Game was announced so late. Either I missed its prior announcement (poor advertising?), or Seton Hall let everyone know only a few days before the game.
