Seton Hall hosting long list of visitors this week

New, 15 comments

The parade of recruiting targets on Seton Hall's South Orange, N.J. campus began on Monday with a visit from 2015 guard Myles Stephens (Pennington School, N.J.) Today, at least five recruits are on campus.

Following Stephens' visit on Monday, 2014 forward Terry Larrier (Phelps School, Pa.) visited yesterday. 2014 guard Robert Johnson was scheduled to visit today, but he also had an unofficial visit setup with Villanova, so it remains unclear whether he actually made it to campus.

With help from Alex Kline, the following five targets have been identified as being on campus: 2014 SF Kyle Kuzma (Rise Academy, Pa.), JuCo Will Bunton (Howard CC), 2014 power forward Rashaan Armstead-Holloway (Schalick, N.J.), 2015 guard Trey Lowe (Ewing, N.J.), and 2016 guard Tyus Battle (GSB, N.J.)

Kyle Kuzma - CoBL provides a fantastic scouting report on Kyle here. also has an update on his recruitment as of a few weeks ago when he visited Penn State. Kuzma holds offers from Penn State, Texas A&M, Rhode Island, VCU, Utah, Northern Illinois, and a bunch of mid-major schools.

Will Bunton - Not much out there on this junior college target. He played at Howard College before being kicked off the team for a violation of team rules in 2011. He then went on to play 20 games for Lamar Community College in Colorado, but is not listed on the team's 2012-13 roster. It looks like Bunton, who has played at two different junior colleges, may be eligible for the 2013-14 season.

Here is a mixtape of this athletic guard.

Trey Lowe - Temple, Boston University, Drexel, and St. Joseph's have already offered this 6-foot-3 guard from Ewing. Lowe has taken visits to Temple, Rutgers, and St. Joseph's and now plays for WE R1 on the AAU circuit.

Here is some footage of Trey from last winter.

Rashaan Armstead-Holloway - Hailing from the same high school as former Pirate Paul Gause, Seton Hall has recently started targeting this power forward from South Jersey. Rashaan has received offers from Fairfield, Temple, Drexel, Rider, and La Salle. He visited Rider last week.

Rashaan averaged 22.8 ppg at Schalick (N.J.) last year.

Tyus Battle - Battle looks to be both the youngest and most talented visitor. He has received an avalanche of high-major offers and hasn't even played his sophomore year of ball at Gill St. Bernard's (N.J.) yet. With GSB grad Jaren Sina in Kevin Willard's back pocket, one has to think that Seton Hall is gaining some traction here.
