The 2014-15 men's college basketball season took another step toward tipping off with the release of USA Today's Top 25 preseason Coaches Poll this afternoon.

In a surprise to no one, just one Big East school was ranked in the Top 25 (Villanova) while Providence and Georgetown received votes but were not ranked.

Seton Hall's toughest non-conference opponent, Wichita State, is ranked just ahead of Villanova at No. 11; the Hall travels to Wichita to December 9th for a Tuesday night clash that will air on ESPN2. George Washington, recently picked second in the Atlantic 10 coaches poll, also received a vote in the USA Today poll; the Colonials will visit the Rock on Saturday, November 29th.
