With three scholarships to give and no commitments in their 2015 recruiting class, the Seton Hall coaching staff will host three visitors this weekend in search of their first verbal.

Loyola (Md.) decommit Dalton Soffer (Poway, Calif.) and power forward Myles Carter (St. Rita, Ill.) will be taking official visits that start this afternoon and last through tomorrow. Official visits can't last longer than 36 hours and would have to end by midnight tomorrow due to an NCAA "dead period" starting. Scoring guard Samir Doughty (Maths, Civics & Sciences, Pa.) will also visit during the same time period on an unofficial visit. Of the three targets, only Soffer has been officially offered, though I would be surprised if Carter and Doughty failed to pick up offers after this weekend. All three guys will be at Seton Hall's exhibition against Caldwell (D-II) on Sunday at noon, which we will be covering from Walsh Gym.

The dead period that starts Monday will run through Wednesday (Nov. 12), which marks the first day that high school seniors can sign their National Letter of Intent (NLI). The signing period lasts from the 12th until the 19th.
