He didn't commit to a school during the early signing period last month, but 2015 forward Myles Carter (St. Rita, Illinois) looks closer to making a decision ahead of the spring signing period in April.
Sean Connor of Hardwood Hoops Central reported last night that Carter is down to a final three of DePaul, Memphis, and Seton Hall.
When I spoke to Carter in late October prior to his Seton Hall visit, the three-star forward said he had already visited DePaul and that a trip to Memphis was in the works. All three schools have offered. Myles watched the Caldwell exhibition in early November from behind Seton Hall's bench and was sitting next to Dalton Soffer, who has since committed. Both recruits were in the locker room post-game, were present for the after-game festivities at Walsh, and had dinner with the team that night.
At the time of his commitment, Soffer said of Carter: "He was telling me that he loves this school, and he was telling me really positive [things]. He even gave me a follow on Twitter, so you never know. He knew I was pretty serious about it so maybe he is too."
With senior Brandon Mobley set to graduate in the spring and two scholarships available, Seton Hall is looking to pick up at least one forward from the 2015 class going into next season. Angel Delgado and Rashed Anthony will presumably get the majority of minutes with Chier Ajou, Ish Sanogo, Mike Nzei, and any newcomers contributing off the bench.
