Seton Hall redshirt senior forward Patrik Auda (Brno, Czech Republic) has been selected to play for the Czech Republic's senior national team during FIBA Eurobasket 2015 qualification this summer.

Auda averaged 9.6 ppg and 4.5 rpg as a redshirt junior for Seton Hall last season while missing seven games due to injury. A broken bone in Auda's foot earned him a medical redshirt during the 2012-13 campaign after just four and a half games. The Canarias Basketball Academy product is set to lead Seton Hall's frontline next season along with newcomers Chier Ajou (Northwestern transfer), Rashed Anthony (redshirt freshman), and Angel Delgado (2014 recruit), and a versatile returnee in senior forward Brandon Mobley.

Patrik Auda also represented the Czech Republic at the 2011 World University Games in Shenzen, China. He led the Czech team by averaging 15.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game during the competition.

The Czech Republic missed out on the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup during qualifying and will therefore look to qualify for FIBA Eurobasket 2015 this summer. The Czechs failed to make it out of their group during the 2013 edition of the Eurobasket competition, which takes place biannually. Portugal (50th in FIBA rankings), Georgia (53rd), and Hungary (NR) were drawn with the Czech Republic (48th) in Group E of qualifying.

Czech Republic's qualifying games:

8/10 - Georgia

8/13 - Portugal

8/17 - Hungary

8/20 - Georgia

8/24 - Portugal

8/27 - Hungary
