ESPN updated their top-100 (2015) and Super 60 (2016) rankings this week in preparation for next month's July 'live' periods. Here is who Seton Hall is recruiting for each of the two classes:
2015 -
#20 - Isaiah Briscoe (PG, Roselle Catholic, N.J.) - No. 1 2015 target, good friends with Isaiah Whitehead
#81 - Levan Alston (SG, Haverford School, Pa.) - Seton Hall offered in late April, Temple in strong
#93 - Trey Lowe (SG, Ewing, N.J.) - Local public school kid that is blowing up, Villanova + St. Joes visits next week
2016 -
#19 - Tyus Battle (G, Gill St. Bernard's, N.J.) - Big-time 2016 recruit, coached by Mergin Sina, Kentucky interested
#39 - Temple Gibbs Jr. (G, Seton Hall Prep, N.J.) - Younger brother of Sterling Gibbs
#45 - Rawle Alkins (G, Christ the King, N.Y.) - Could be New York's next big guard beyond 2014
Notice that there are no wings or post players that fit the above criteria. 2015 forward targets Elijah Burns (#20 PF) and Chris Silva (#39 PF) finished in the top 100-200 range (to compare: Aaron Falzon was #15 PF and ranked 97th overall).
Furthermore, 2015 power forward target Jonathan Nwankwo is classified as a center (#32) by ESPN, but probably isn't far behind Burns and Silva overall.
