Some expected this to happen last week, but Seton Hall dropping out of the AP poll was solidified by a pair of losses to Butler and DePaul this week. The Pirates are still receiving 10 votes.
Georgetown (No. 21) and Butler (No. 25) have now joined Villanova (No. 7) in the Top 25 after big weeks; Providence is at No. 30 with 29 votes. Roosevelt Jones is averaging 16.5 ppg in the Big East, three more than his season average, which has really lifted the Bulldogs' all-around play. Kevin Willard called him an all-league guard after the game yesterday.
