Seton Hall is still after 2015 guards.

Despite Seton Hall being in the thick of a Big East season, their coaching staff has made a few recruiting moves over the past two weeks that I'll recap here, including a pit stop between Indianapolis and Milwaukee. The Hall has two open scholarships left for their incoming 2015 class.

January 17th - Seton Hall offered 2017 top-50 forward Jordan Tucker of White Plains, New York after watching him at the Big Apple Invitational two weeks ago. Tucker already held offers from Syracuse, Arizona, Connecticut and others.

January 22nd - A pair of local recruits were hosted during the Seton Hall - DePaul game. 2016 St. Anthony power forward Taurean Thompson, who was just offered by Rutgers days prior, was there along with 2017 Christ the King guard Jose Alvarado. The staff had seen Alvarado, who plays alongside 2016 guard Rawle Alkins, score 25 against Cardozo two weeks prior.

January 27th - The day before the Marquette game, Tiny Morton was in Illinois to watch 2015 point guard Marcus LoVett of Morgan Park (Ill.) and Mac Irvin Fire. A top-100 point guard, LoVett has been offered by St. John's and Illinois is thought to be in strong.

January 29th - Seton Hall offers 2015 shooting guard Malik Ellison of Life Center (N.J.), teammates with 2015 point guard Traci Carter. The two are close and have considered a package deal, but Seton Hall already has one 2015 shooting guard signed in Dalton Soffer.

A top-100, 6-foot-6 guard, Ellison has visited Minnesota and took in the Temple-SMU game on January 14th. As for Carter, I have not seen a reported offer, but the 6-foot guard has said he is considering Seton Hall and 247Sports.com lists an offer. He is thought to be waiting for a Louisville offer and plans to take visits before the spring signing period.

Seton Hall will likely have recruits at tomorrow's noon game with Xavier. Stay tuned.
