As of the Big East teleconference a week ago, Kevin Willard said Isaiah Whitehead needed two weeks of rest (Dec. 24 - Jan. 7) and then he would get his boot removed and another MRI taken.
According to Zach Braziller of the New York Post, whose source is very good, Whitehead is pain-free and is hopeful to play against Butler (1/13) after Seton Hall returns from a two-game road trip to Xavier and Creighton.
Been told Isaiah Whitehead is pain-free. MRI next Sunday or Monday, hopes to play Tuesday against Butler. #shubb

At media availability today, Kevin Willard said that Whitehead may be ready for DePaul (1/22). The Hall have a nine day break between the Butler and DePaul games, a period of time that could act as a cautious extra rest period for Whitehead.
