Ahead of their trip north on I-95 yesterday, Georgetown head coach John Thompson III was available to local media and answered a few questions about Seton Hall.
His answers and a few more are included below.
On Angel Delgado's production being shocking: "I don't know if I'd say shocked, but if you asked me in the spring or summer would he be having the kind of year that he's having - if you told me - woah. He's a good player, he works very, very hard, he's skilled, he's mobile, and he's got a toughness to him. As you watch each game, it's not shocking. Would I have anticipated this? Not necessarily."
If he has noticed a difference between Isaiah Whitehead coming off the bench: "He's still settling into his groove. He's an additional weapon. Obviously he's a very, very good player and he just gives them one more weapon."
On Khadeen Carrington: "He's good, he can score. He's a natural scorer. He's hard to guard, he's really, really hard to guard. He's an offensive threat, he comes in there and he's aggressive and he's effective."
Seton Hall hosts the Hoyas tonight at 7 p.m. at Prudential Center.
