Seton Hall's in-home visit with 2015 shooting guard Dalton Soffer (Gamepoint/Poway High School, Calif.), originally reported by SouthOrangeJuice earlier this month, is set in stone for Wednesday at 5 p.m.

UPDATE (9/24 7PM): Seton Hall's in-home has been rescheduled to October 8th as Soffer's ankle isn't 100-percent.

Head coach Kevin Willard and assistant Fred Hill will fly out to southern California to watch the 6-foot-5 sharpshooting guard work out at Poway High School, located 30 minutes north of San Diego, along with the conventional sit-down "in-home" portion of the visit. Seton Hall extended an offer to Dalton in late August when he unofficially visited their campus.

Of Dalton Soffer's list of four schools, he has already held in-home visits with Boston University head coach Joe Jones and assistant Shaun Morris on September 9th along with Loyola (Md.) head coach G.G. Smith and assistant Dan Flicke last Tuesday, September 16th. UPenn, who hosted Soffer on an unofficial visit the day after he was on Seton Hall's campus, is also looking to set up an in-home.

With Isaiah Briscoe setting his sights on Kentucky, UConn, and Missouri, it looks like that ship will sail west or north of South Orange. Though Soffer's interest from Seton Hall predates the foregone conclusion that Briscoe looks set to leave the state of New Jersey, it explains the Hall's renewed interest in Wings Academy (N.Y.) point guard Desure Buiewho was watched by the staff last week.

Seton Hall has three scholarships to work with in 2015 and Soffer and/or Buie could be targeted as guys that can come in and fight for playing time next season with several talented guards already on the Hall's roster.

As far as forwards go, the jury is out on where Seton Hall's staff will turn for a big man in 2015.
